STATA is a complete integrated statistical software package for data mining, description, graphics and analysis. Recently universities in US, UK, Canada and Australia, as well as bilateral and multilateral agencies use STATA, as methodological tool, for collating, managing & analyzing both qualitative and quantitative data. Contemporary methodological approaches give more emphasis on the integration of qualitative and quantitative research in order to better understand the social and economic problems.
